These wonderful gardens were created from a patch of forest adjoining the River Lark, over a period of over 50 years, by Bernard Tichner, former head brewer at Greene King, and the creator of Abbot Ale; he had a talent for making people happy 🙂
The gardens are now in the care of Perennial, the horticultural charity, who gave me permission to fly my drone from the gardens on days when there was no public access.
